People Friendly Refugee Ashram
You are not orphans as long as we are
Sri Siddalinga Swamiji Siddaganga Mutt, Tumkur
Our Siddaganga Sriguru is the god who remains immortal in the minds of the people and is worshiped by the people of Kali Yuga. The divine spirit that arose in my mind the moment I visited Yogesh Siddaganga Math, a friend of the people who was a taxi driver, and the path Sri walked, became a model for me. His touch changed the life of an ordinary taxi driver. After spending some time with them, that divine power seemed to draw him towards the path of religion. Since then, he accepted Siddaganga Shri as his guru in his life like no other, dedicated his life to social service like him, offered all the hardships that came his way at his feet, and today he gave the taxi driver enough power to provide shelter, food and care to hundreds of people. Sri Siddaganga Sri. All we can say is to kneel down and salute the Guru who empowered the ordinary taxi driver to do ordinary things. Every work we do is inspired by you, we will follow your path for life.
Autoraja Your friendly Yogesh and team…..
All of us stand as a hill of support for social service. My heartfelt gratitude to Autoraja, the God of Refugees, who guided me as Guru at every step…..
This people-friendly organization of the ordinary achievement of a common taxi driver who grew up in abject poverty, Yogendra, the son of flower and fresh water merchants, was born and brought upin abject poverty but saw only a rich dream, for Yogesh who startedsocial service while driving a taxi, from the footstepsof Mr. Siddaganga. It inspired him to dedicate hisentire life to social service.
He was born on November 30, 1989 as the first son of Gangappa and Gouramma in Anadagu village of Turuvakere taluk of Tumkur district. Being a poor family who worked hard even for the agreed meal, he raised them as a wage earner. Yogesh, who completed his studies up to 7th standard, left home and came to Bangalore to learn about life.
Initially, he started working as a cleaner in a hotel. Then he worked for 3 years at Koliparam in Puttur following his father’s advice. Then he moved to Bangalore with his family for permanent settlement. For sustenance, father used to trade in fresh water, while mother used to trade in flowers. Yogesh started doing all the work he got in the beginning. He used to do many jobs like selling flowers, selling vegetables, cleaning buses at the bus depot.
Even then, he used to give small helping hands to the aspirants in his work. At the age of 18, he started a permanent job as a taxi driver. Even then, he understood the real images of the society and was shocked to see people who were starving while driving through the night. He became food for the hungry. Those who were starving cried out that it was good. All this started to bother Yogesh. He started doing more social work. Then he entered married life with the girl he loved. Yogesh, who was living a comfortable life, will have to spend 5 months in prison for a mistake he did not make in his life. In time, they found out who their relatives were. He died without money for his funeral.
For many days he sat at home in a gloomy mood. The very moment of his visit to Siddaganga Shrigala Mutt inspired Yogesh to dedicate his life to social service. Then let us form a trust with our friends and shade the afflicted and satisfy the hunger of the hungry. Friends laughed and said he was crazy when he said that children should be given free education. When told to dignitaries and politicians, which movie was Nodkond Bandyahna, he insulted. Undeterred, Yogesh joined with interested friends and started the Janasnehi Charitable Trust in 2018 itself.
He started many social works with the help of his work friends. So far, more than 4500 people have been provided free blood on time and saved their lives. So many orphaned corpses have been freed. Even during the corona lockdown, he helped many hungry and suffering people. People fondly call him Janasnehi Yogesh and Public Spar Yogesh.
With the guidance of Gurus like Janabambala and Autoraj, he wanted to help more people. On April 01, 2021, he rented an ashram near Sondekoppa in Nelamangala and today he is providing food, care and shelter to many people. It is said that this people-friendly organization is an extraordinary achievement of a common taxi driver.
Hundreds of people who have lost the ties of relationships, are suffering and spendyears without bathing, without proper food, without care, looking forward to the days of death.
When we see such people, we immediately rush there and find out their condition, rescue them with the help of the locals and the consent of the police, bring them to the ashram, clean them and dress them in clean clothes. Janasnehi Yogesh and team are working hard for his daily smile by treating and caring for the hospital. A refugeeA whole day’s time is lost for efficiency. It is not as easy as watching avideo. There is so much effort of Jansanehi team behind their rescue.
Without a proper ambulance system to rescue refugees, Jansanehi is proud of rescuing so many refugees in hiredvehicles
